“We rented a condo unit from a great young couple with my boyfriend's family. The house was ready and smelled amazing as soon as we showed up. A little gift basket, wine and card from the owners were a sweet touch that also helps us learn of some local businesses. Amazing location right off the main route of the ski hill, we can't imagine a better ski in/out location. Beautiful view from every floor and the hot tub. Amazing and relaxing visit.”

“This Airbnb condo was perfect for our stay in Kimberley. The unit was extremely clean and equipped with all the necessities for a pleasant stay. While we no longer ski, the proximity to the chairlifts and cross country was excellent -- within a few minutes walk. The view from the unit was wonderful, overlooking the local mountains and valley. Our thanks to our host for a most pleasant stay. Would I go back -- darn tooting.”

“A nice old fashioned hotel with large suites close to the ski slopes. Our had a living area with the fireplace, a kitchen and a bedroom. There is a balcony as well. It was clean and everything worked well. We visited in the summer so there was a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub, not sure if that is open during the winter.”

“So convenient for ski in/ ski out. Parking underground is heated and convenient. Room was clean upon arrival and space was very adequate. If you're planning to cook, the Kitchen supplies are limited. No basics like salt, pepper or oil etc. Dishes were also limited...only 3 bowls, few glasses, pans etc. Staff replenished soaps etc, but does no cleaning and things like toilet brushes are not provided.”

The service is always very good, and they are accommodating since there are usually a few of us that don’t ski, but we will hold a table for the rest that do. Joanna has been our server for the past 15 years, and you’ll never get anyone more attentive and fun! She’s great, we always try to sit in her section when we can! We did another shot ski this year!”

“Just returned to Kimberly after a ski trip in Fernie and the difference between the two locations is great. OK on the third day in Fernie we had a dump of snow and it was good powder, and amazing. Hard to beat. Nevertheless, Fernie was much better prepared on the runs. And the variety of lower runs in Blue and Green allows for a fun day. While Kimberly has the long North Star quad chair lift, and the blues and a few greens are long and converge on the bridge to the start of the lift. So a real bottleneck. And after the bridge to run down to the lift is not green.. Once up the North Star you can move over to the backside, but they are not always well groomed runs. In fact I was on Vimy Ridge and the run surveyor was having a real argument on the phone with the director about opening runs. It would also be nice if somebody took a brush cutter to the pines growing on the runs. The RCR staff at the locations seem to come from different planets, the Fernie staff are great friendly and helpful. And the ski patrol is on the ball. You can't say that of Kimberly at all. Except being for the cafe staff they are friendly..”

“Building was easy to find and keys were ready for our arrival in the lock box. The villa was even larger than we expected and each of our teenagers were able to have their own bed. The full size kitchen was just like home and made it easy to feed the whole family. We loved avoiding the drive to the ski hill since everyone could put on their skis/boards right by the building and head straight down to the lift. Overall a very clean, nicely decorated place for an affordable price. Plus it could actually fit our whole family! Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Kimberley.”

“When we booked this place, we just did it because other places booked. Honestly, just expected a place great enough to stay for a few days. Turned out it was one of the best rural places we ever booked! Name something you want in a house, it was there! There was full spices sets, any cooking equipment you can wish, cooking recipes book, and tons of games and nostalgic movies. The couple who we did the booking from them were beyond friendly. The place was super quiet. I just didn’t want to go back home! I just wanted cook and eat in the backyard. There are two great grills in the shared area. The hot tub could be cleaner (had lots of ants in the water). But, it was an amazing place overall.”
