Such a fun ski hill. Not crowded, lots of variety of difficulty levels. I think I need to try ski-paragliding next time. The mountain top cabin was a great place for a burger for lunch
Our large group of fourteen people really enjoyed our week staying in Tamarack Lodge. Though some of the rooms were less updated, the location was perfect, right on the hill between the main lower lifts and the extensive hot pool. Arriving December 31 after two weeks of little snow, we were thankful for the extensive snow making that gave us a good base. Nightly grooming on many runs meant good conditions each morning. But best of all was the extensive terrain and lack of line ups even on a busy holiday season.
There was snow over the 2024 break, but the conditions were not great. Compared to other resorts the lifts were slow(the sunshine bowl lift was the worst offender), though there were a number of runs to choose from. It's beautiful in the summer, and there are other activities like rafting and snowmobiling that are available nearby
Great ski-from-the-hill resort. Well-groomed every day despite el Nino. Mountain Friends are amazing 👏 and free guides! Vistas above the clouds are stunning. Lift lines are short despite the busiest time of year.
Nice place. Room amenities very scarce. No fridge. No microwave. Only a small coffee maker. Had to buy a cooler in town which was 33minute drive away and loaded up on groceries. It’s a nice place for someone who doesn’t mind eating in the restaurants every meal and isn’t on a budget. Lots of deep fried foods and French fries.
Wasn’t told I could drive to door to drop off my bags and suitcase close to the entrance. Had to carry it from parking lot and up 3 flights of stairs and the another 2 flights of stairs to get to room. No elevator. Never been here before so it was frustrating understanding the lay of the land.
