I could have stayed all day at the hot springs - be prepared to not want to leave. It was so relaxing, especially after a long day of hiking. I went during the second week of September, so weather was fantastic and the facilities were not too crowded. The cold pool was in construction, so check back later for its opening date. It's obvious the facilities have been renovated, the lobby is large, the locker rooms are huge and clean, there is lots of staff around, the showers are really nice as well. Then the hot springs pool are massive and very hot. The scenery in the gorge is really unique as well. A fantastic experience, well worth the price.
Radium Hot Springs proved to be a delightful escape! I reveled in the soothing waters and welcomed the respite offered by their fantastic cooling areas. A tip for future visitors: be mindful of the crowd; it can get quite busy at times. Additionally, during my visit, they were actively constructing another pool, showing their commitment to enhancing the experience. It's essential to plan ahead, as they operate from 9 AM to 11 PM, offering a variety of pricing options for different age groups, including reasonable family packages. Despite the ongoing construction and the occasional hustle and bustle, my time at Radium Hot Springs was well worth it!
Was driving by and saw this and said why not! So glad we made a stop! It’s worth it and refreshing and relaxing! We only stayed about an hour and half but it was plenty! We literally had no idea how it ran so we walked up with a swim suit in hands and my wallet. You pay the entrance fee and can pay a bit more for a towel. They give you a coin where you use for the locker. Locke rooms were so clean and spacious. Rinse off before stepping out to the hot spring. It’s not the kind of hot springs with the smell. There is none of that because of the radium. Big warm pool and my favorite part was the cold plunge small pool you can step into!
I really wanted to visit a undeveloped hot springs in the area, but time didn't allow for this. I felt like I was settling until we got there and realized that this is an amazing hot springs. It is well maintained and clean, and, even with the cold pool under renovations, it was well worth the visit. Soaking in the mineral rich waters (no sulpher scent...major bonus) under the natural cliff face is so relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Amazing well maintained hot spring surrounded by mountains. Its so relaxing to be in the hot pool and enjoy the view. The washrooms, showers were well kempt lockers were included in the admissions, towels were not, there is extra charge for towels and shampoo, but we bought our own. Kids had a lot of fun. There was nice spacious picnic area outside as shown in images, there are quite a bit of trails to hike again as shown in images. Ample parking and washrooms, even spa massage available fpr extra charges. One less start because one of the pool was under construction, as shown in images, but price was not lowered during that construction period. Over all highly recommended especially due to view. Check out images and follow for more.
