Copper Point Resort

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows. The location is great, but unfortunately, the property seems quite dated and in need of renovation. The rooms were showing signs of wear, with mold in the shower corners and grout, and many areas not properly cleaned. The DVD players required special requests, despite a DVD collection being available. The Chrome Cast didn't work, requiring maintenance to fix it.

While the daytime front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the after-hours reception was lacking, and I experienced a delay during check-in. The room's thermostat was convenient, but the AC fans were quite noisy. The furniture throughout the hotel was worn down, and I could hear noise from rooms above, including water sounds and flushes.

The standout was the spa experience, which was truly exceptional in terms of service and ambiance. However, the rest of the building had a stale and old smell, and there was a consistent issue with cleanliness, from dusty corners to a dirty stove grill. The gym was disappointing, being unclean and offering used cleaning towels and spray. The restaurant service was good, but the food was overly salty and not impressive.

The in-room coffee was utterly unpalatable, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste that lingered far too long.

One particular inconvenience was the $400 hold for incidentals, which took more than 24 hours to be returned after checkout. While the location is a strong point, given the issues I encountered and the cost, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.

We stayed in a pet friendly room over the weekend and it was decent! I definitely don't think it was worth the price, especially with how small and outdated the room was, and the TV needed a major upgrade. The outdoor pool and cabana was awesome though, besides people leaving towels on chairs that they aren't currently using. Our pup enjoyed her little goody bag with some toys and a cookie :)

We stayed here for a wedding for a few nights. We stayed in a pet friendly room and I found it was a little outdated and could use some updates, but overall no complaints regarding the cleanliness. The shower pressure was a little harsh and I would prefer an adjustable shower head so you can turn down the pressure. The price of the rooms was extremely reasonable, and we appreciated how quiet the hotel was despite being fully booked. Overall would stay here again, definitely the nicest hotel in the area!
