Dr. Dutoit has been my doctor for over a decade in Chilliwack, he has always been very professional, personable and most importantly compassionate. People who are complaining about long wait times need to understand that with the shortage of family doctors, Dr. Dutoit has taken on many patients and I believe he does his best to serve his patients to the best of his ability considering the circumstances. I have no problem waiting if I need to, there are countries in this world where people wait hours and hours and sometimes days to see a doctor. We are truly blessed in Canada and I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor.
What a great Dr spends time with you and looks at other avenues some Dr's do not.

Good doctor, but poor reception. One has to take the time to personally go to this doctors office and book an appointment as they do not take messages. So one has to take time off work just for an appointment. Very poor service in my opinion. Since this original review, the Doctor has now moved to a new location and the wait times are considerably shorter now. and there are two practicing doctors on the premisis as compared to only one in the old facility, which was a converted house.
Really hard to reach, way to long waiting times to get an appointment. Staff seems to be annoyed when you ask something. It’s not nice when they told me that the doctor will call me and I called again the receptionist told me that he has a list he goes through and he will call...took of work went home waited and waited no call...he never called me. Disappointing
After having to deal with a less than helpful and short tempered staff of another doctor this was a very welcome change for me. The staff was courteous and cheerful. Dr Du Toit was thorough and also easy to talk with. It was however a little difficult at first to understand his South African accent but I did get used to it. A good experience for the first time at this doctor.
