I didnt have a good experience but I only went one time so I cant speak for all the other staff. I booked a half hour deep tissue massage and wasnt even massaged. I left feeling EXACTLY the same as when I walked in but lost $65. My RMT did a couple stretches then a few pressure points. I had to ask for her to go firmer probably close to 10 times. I asked repeatedly to work on my knots in my shoulders and for a few seconds she rubbed her fingers over the area which I could have done a better job with my own hand, or my second hand store massager I bought for a $4.
I do massages my self and am very experienced, I guess its shocking to see people with hundreds of hours more of training then me and really do nothing.
If I book a massage, I want a massage....
I understand this method probably works for some people and alot of people just dont know better, it was very dissapointing.
I could have used that money towards a deep tissue massage at just about any spa and at least would have come out feeling worked on.
I would not come back to an RMT here but other then that, the receptionist was very nice and informative and the building is so clean. Looks proffesional and I am sure many other services are great here. My RMT was kind and personable so I am still give 3 stars but I definitely wont return and it was the worst massage I have ever had.
I understand more and more why so many of my clients who go to RMTs regularly, react the same after their first visit with me. They say my massage is the best they have ever had. So many tell me they have never felt this good or felt this much pain relief with their regular RMT. They must be used to someone barely touching them and calling it a masage. You can't loosen up a shoulder or get rid of knots by gently rubbing over the knots for a few seconds. I dont care how much education someone has it doesnt mean you're talented in massage.
A few pressure points covering about 1% of the body is certainly not going to be the same as massaging the whole back or body and loosening up all the sore muscles. Everything is connected and I shouldn't have had 99% of my back not even touched.
Great staff, great chiropractic office with Dr.Kilgannon. he is amazing! Highly recommended.
Doctor Lewis is very caring, very inquisitive and treats everyone with respect. He gave me some good resources to help myself restore my body balance. I am looking forward to my next visit.
I have been fortunate enough to have had an appointment with Dr. Craig Robinson, and he was very professional and thorough. One of the best Chiropractors i have been to. I would recommend him and this office to anyone. Thank you for a great experience.
