Sardis North Dental

To clarify, the staff at Sardis North are extremely nice and Dr. Hutton is a legend when it comes to dentists in Chilliwack, he is of the most skilled and reputable dentists you will find in this town.

That said, the service I've received here by the other in house dentist left me with a very bad taste. To illustrate, I had a clear quote to get specific work done. Half way through the procedure after the dentist had drilled a hole in my tooth, he informed me that the cavity was a little bigger than he could judge by the X-ray and so he asked me to agree to increasing the fee by $50. With a big hole already drilled in my tooth and half my face frozen I wasn't really in a place to negotiate on the price, so I agreed to it, feeling at that point price gouged with a bait and switch game. That operation added no more time or complications, and was done quickly.

I visited again 6 months later, requesting to see Dr. Hutton, who is fantastic, and he said the work that was done previously had already disintegrated and would all have to be re-done, and that many of the recommendations from the other dentist were not necessary. That said, Hutton is in high demand and so it takes often months to book time with him so I switched to a different dentist office. All the best!
