Beautiful place to take the family for a walk in the winter. If it's raining in the Fraser Valley then it's snowing at Chwk Lake. Road is plowed all the way to the park. Park is closed in the winter but you can park at the gate and walk in. Stunning on a snowing or sunny day!
So beautiful! Best to go during the week day when no one is there! Super snowy as of last week so just make sure your car is prepared!
An amazing place. One of the most clean and clear lakes in BC. If you decide to come here please keep it clean. If you see garbage pick it up and pack it out.
It has the best campsite, nature, and lake! I have visited 5 different campsites this summer and this one is the best. Some people may not like it because there's no cellphone reception here but I thought it was the real vacation without any distractions.
Well kept, spacious sites. Spent 4 days and enjoyed it. Lots of trails to hike. Individual sites are great, and mostly level. Dbl sites poorly thought out; fire pits are way on the edges instead of one central ( which is what they should have like everywhere else).
Good site layout for families next to the playground, but the road should proceed all the way around it for more access.
Saw a fight down at the boat launch because the road is WAY too narrow, and the pad at the bottom is too small.
Needs a second sani dump for the number of sites. It was an hour in a lineup there on the way out.
