“Well kept, spacious sites. Spent 4 days and enjoyed it. Lots of trails to hike. Individual sites are great, and mostly level. Dbl sites poorly thought out; fire pits are way on the edges instead of one central ( which is what they should have like everywhere else). Good site layout for families next to the playground, but the road should proceed all the way around it for more access. Saw a fight down at the boat launch because the road is WAY too narrow, and the pad at the bottom is too small. Needs a second sani dump for the number of sites. It was an hour in a lineup there on the way out.”

“Great little spot. Fairly open to other campers but we went during the week and there was only one other, quiet site occupied. Would be cold by the creek right now, as the wind comes down the little valley, but the inner sites are great!”

“I have stayed here twice now and have never been disappointed. Well equipped sites, the most friendliest and warmest of staff, topped with amazing scenery! I cannot wait to visit for a third time in the summer.”

“Had a wonderful stay in the very rustic cabin. We were completely alone for the whole weekend and we loved it! The only problem we had was trying to find water! Remember to bring your own!”

“Lovely area and I am sure it would be great during summer. I visited while it was still covered in snow and ice, making the trails virtually impossible to safely explore.”

“I love the wild trailer that leads to the river. It’s a must visit.”

“I only came here because it was the only place available on such short notice. Had I known there would be a million people there, I would have stayed put at home. It's great for families with young children and a great introduction to camping while having all the amenities. In that respect, it's a 5 Star for sure. But for the camping I'm looking for this would be the worst possible place. To me, this place is essentially a luxurious refugee camp with 100s of families living in tents. I don't really have anything negative to say about the place. It's just not my type of camping but great for families. And now that I have own little kid, I would consider this place as an introduction to camping.”

“Nice views of the lake. Great place for a BBQ, except when the government prohibits it during wildfire season.”

“Visited this campsite at the end of August for a weekend of camping. The location is great, right beside the lake and minutes from the Cultus Lake town and Water Park. The camp itself is well layed out, with individual lots well spaced and organized. Did find some difficulties in placing pegs into the ground as there were a lot of shallow stones; it is also very close to the main Columbia Valley Road, which can be noisy at night if you want seclusion. Great spot overall, just be mindful of fire bans and other camp restrictions!”

“Camped there first time earlier this month and had another one booked at the end of the month. Just returned from our second one. We've got to say that it's a beautiful lake. You can do lots of activities - kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing... basically any water activities. Campsites around the lake is beautiful. We wish there were more sites that were more accessible to the beach though. Many of the campsites were elevated. So you'll have to walk to beach access to get to small beaches. There was only one area that has convenient access to the beach / lake. Campsites and washrooms are clean. The only issue is the water at the sinks is HOT! It's scalding hot! I hope they'll do something about it soon.”

“Great weekend with the 1st Brookswood Scouts! Main longhouse is spacious and kept warm by a wood burning stove. Most the cabins are in dire need of repair as the winters and time have not been kind. Otherwise, the few usable cabins are clean and sturdy. Bring your own water and a generator to power the cabin and you are set.”

“Amazing nature, stunning west coast rainforest. We took a group of kids here (ages 4-6) and they hiked from the watts creek trail head all the way up to teapot hill, it was so much fun. The first part of the trail is quite steep with switchbacks, and then levels out after a while. The forest air is just amazing here.”

“My family and I love coming here. It's our annual camping trip. I love the size of the camping lots. The park is always so clean and I love that the bathrooms have showers. I also like that if there is a fire ban on, we are allowed propane fires to help keep us warm. The lake is so close and the kids have a great time. Will keep returning as often as possible.”

“Great place to camp IF you can get a spot. . I can't plan to be there for a certain time due to my job. So booking online in advance doesn't work for me. .. and I have no patience to sleep in my truck overnight to get a spot for a weekend. .. so unfortunately I don't camp there anymore. .. great for a day trip though. .....................”
