Loved solitude and the views. The last 5k are a bit more difficult with all of the washed out areas of the trail.

It's at the 10km down East Canyon Trail. Turn left when you see the MCD orange marker and the pink ribbon with black dots. There's an outhouse there with a tarp over the door. Plenty of obvious campsites to choose from, no one there. Total solitude.

This is at the 10k mark - twice the distance from the parking lot to Hiker’s beach, and more challenging. Also, the location is not as clearly marked (see photos). Once you reach this location, turn left.

This does not have as much sandy beach as Hiker’s beach, however if you like solitude, there are not a lot of campers here.
