Nice camping area.
Pitt Lake offers beautiful scenery just outside the city. There are four provincial marine parks along the lake – at Raven Creek, Dark Creek, Osprey Creek South and Osprey Creek North.
Dark Creek, accessible only by bat offers limited camping spots (enough room for two to four small tents, and beautiful scenery both looking out at the lake as well as within the magical Forest.
There is an outhouse for convenience (and it's a rather nice one considering the location), with beautiful terms and miss covered old growth Forest surrounding you. It can be wet, and Pitt Lake is prone to shifting weather...but it's a great paddle from the launch at the narrows, about 7-8 kms, with lots of wildlife in and out of the water to view.
There is no real place to land you motor boat, it's more suited for canoes and kayaks; remember if your securing your boats to the logs on shore Pitt Lake is susceptible to tides, take it above high tide line.
