“We can not say enough about Alja and Muddy Paw's in Harrison. Our old girl was a very scared of blowers, hated baths, and didn't like a lot of attention on her unless you were throwing a ball. Alja hand dried her so that she was comfortable and she was always happy when we got there and when we picked her up. It made such a difference in not only her appearance but in our house. She was a Border Collie x Kelpie cross and the hair in the house was unbearable until we started going to Muddy Paws just over a year ago. Highly recommend her fantastic service.”

“It's an amazing place to relax and soak in the warm waters especially during the cold winter months. I found the change rooms, showers, and pool area to be extremely clean. It was closed recently for 1.5 months so that they could renovate the pool and it really is looking nice now. I would give it 5 stars if the hours they were open the whole day every day like they used to be. Before you go though make sure you call to ensure it is open as the hours can change day to day do to staffing troubles.”

“Loved staying here for a long weekend. This is probably the best location you can get in town as it's literally in front of the lagoon and lake, and right in the middle of all the activities. It's a very walkable area with restaurants right next door, park right in front and the few activities that the town offers are within a 10 minute walk. They do offer free parking as well which was very welcome since the area generally has paid parking. The rooms themselves seem upgraded/renovated which was great. There were decently spacious with a sizeable bathroom as well. They included soap, shampoo, body wash but no other toiletries such as tooth brushes or paste. The staff at the front desk was very courteous and helpful and he managed to check us in a little earlier than the regular 3 pm thankfully. He also allowed us to park a couple of hours after the check out time which was very much appreciated. The Shaw cable box in our room did not work and he spent a good hour trying to get it to work for us, but it did not. Not their fault though, so I don't hold that against them even though it was bummer because I just wanted to put on some TV for my daughter.”

The service can not be excused. We were served by a lady who couldn't be bothered. It took us 20 minutes to place our order. She didn't get the order right as she missed the extra toast, butter and jam we requested for our daughter. Midway through the meal when we requested it again she told us the toast with my meal was the extra one (that's fair, eggs bendict does not come with toast). But then when I asked her for the jam and butter, she went to the table next to us which had just been vacated 5 minutes ago by a couple and not yet cleaned, got a clean plate and took the butter and jam which had been served to them as part of their meal, and brought it to us. Yes, it was in a small container, not open jam and butter, but she literally just put it in a new plate and gave it to us! I was astounded and could not find words. I gave customer service a 3, because we were also helped by a gentleman a couple of times who was very pleasant to deal with.”

“Excellent customer service. The ladies working were very friendly and helpful. They didn't push us and gave us lots of time to decide. There are so many delicious options. I highly recommend the caramel apples, they can even cut them so they're a lot easier to eat. You can share the slices as well, if you want. 😉 You can find something for every chocolate lover. They are right on the main street and very easy to find. We will definitely be back.”

“I skated there many times....much easier to skate on when wet but they insist on getting the water off. Yes...its harder to skate on when dry but the workers don't skate on it?? So they don't know its easier when wet because you glide better. Ice is much easier to skate on for sure....but this is fun and good exercise outdoors.”

“An amazing GEM of experience! 🥰 You can rent so many types of vehicles for quick fun 1hr ride around the harrison resort area! They have so many types of vehicles you can rent (forgot to take a photo of that). There were 5 different types if my memory is correct. Pricing is reasonable and the shop owner/operator was very friendly and even complimented on something I had for my camera.”

“Came for supper & drinks at the Old Settler Pub with family and overall it was okay. Seating in the glass-enclosed patio at the back offered a pleasant view of the waterway, however the room had dreadful acoustics: It made the space, with a dozen tables, feel like it was filled with hundreds, such that it was very difficult to enjoy conversation and for everyone at our small table to hear clearly what was being said. The prime rib special was decent, although a bit overcooked compared to my request; it came closer to well done than to medium, but it was nonetheless flavourful. The mixed veggies tasted oddly like a Chinese stir-fry. Salad came with a nice apple cider emulsion vinaigrette. And the baked potato included a little cup of sour cream with a sprinkling of bacon and green onion. One rather bright point was our server, who had a knack for showing up when our drinks were getting low. She was quite helpful and accommodating.”
