(October 18, 2018, 3:33 am)I've been on a D.A.S.H. diet for several months now. After looking around for a decent fiber-heavy loaf of bread, I came across my local Cob's Bread. Very knowledgeable staff, and they even were able to print out dietary information for their bread. I picked up a full loaf of Cape Seed bread, which was $6.50 CDN at the time and now priced at $6.75 CDN. Well worth the price! Each *slice* of bread is about 16% fiber, so three sandwiches throughout the day (two for breakfast, one for lunch) is just about all the fiber I need for the day. The upside? When dinner rolls around I'm hardly hungry and have even managed to lose weight! If you've ever been curious about Cob's Bread, give them a shot, its great food!
