Peaked Pies

My husband and I have been eyeing this place since last year, this morning we got the chance to try it in their patio! The lady in the counter was very kind and helpful, since it was our first time she took time to explain to us which is which and their best seller.
I got a Ned Kelly and my husband ordered the hopper (Kangaroo meat) which are both delicious and filling! It was so good that my husband ordered his second pie! Will definitely come back to try the other flavours next time we drop by in the area! 👍🏼

Very nice ambience even on a cold and cloudy day. The staff were very friendly and this seemed to carry on to the patrons who were happy to clear up quick to make room for other customers.
The team helped with recommendations for a first timer, we had the hopper pie and another beef pie which were both unique and delicious. Paired it with a hot cocoa and an Aussie ginger beer for myself for the full experience.
Would love to come back to sample more of the menu.

Amazing pies! It was my first time trying it. The pies don't look big, but they are definitely filling. There are both savory and sweet pies. Staff are friendly and good at suggesting. Prices are reasonable. Will recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it.

I greatly enjoy eating here. The pies are light and very tasty. They also participated in the hot chocolate festival and the special hot chocolate was delicious. Vegetarian pies are available and there is a lovely selection of desserts and excellent coffee. A place you really need to visit to relish their fabulous pies peaked with yummy mashed peas and mashed potatoes. Enjoy!

We’ve had some great and delicious Aussie pies - but not from this place. The pies are very mediocre if not a little bland. I think all the ingredients are okay, but it’s like they weren’t well cooked and put together somehow, leading to a lack of flavour and depth that normally comes from a great meat pie. We tried a steak and mushroom; the steak chunks were too tough and gristly and the pie lacked overall depth of flavour. The traditional Aussie pie was very mediocre, in terms of flavour. Overall with the pies the flavour made me feel like they’ve taken some short cuts on properly preparing the filling, they should’ve been better. Sadly, the peas and gravy were the best parts of the meal. Overall the pastry was very mediocre and could’ve been better made too. Considering it cost us over $50 for 4 small personal pies, I expected better quality food. 2.5 stars would’ve been appropriate but I can’t pick a half star. I went with 3 instead of 2 because the staff and service was decent.
