  Really friendly service! I mentioned it was my first time in and they offered me samples. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. It's not the cheapest lunch option around though.

  Love this place!! The best poke I've had in Vancouver yet and I'm so glad it's close to home for me. Finally found a gem out in the suburbs!

  I have had poke from an array of places and it really comes down to how fresh the fish is. The staple of poke is fresh seafood with a light ensemble of greens, rice, and sauce. I got the Spicy Tuna bowl and it was average. In terms of other poke places nearby this location is a clear winner but if you want the best poke ever than you might look elsewhere. This place is perfect if you are a college student on the run or want to avoid the unhealthy pizza/ramen option. The sauce flavor is great and I love that you can put more if need be but the fish quality didn't cut it for me. It had an almost frozen texture/taste but I did go close to closing time. I will go back for sure to get a second tasting opinion. Try it and support a local business!

  So great. Probably the friendliest poke bar I've ever been to. They walked me through each step, gave me a sample of the proteins so I know which ones to choose. And it was definitely one of the best poke bowls I've ever had!

  I would only recommend it of you enjoy raw fish. The food is sauced-up raw fish with a plethora of choose-your-own toppings. It reminds me of Japanese food but says it's inspired by Hawaiian as well.
  
  Steve's Poke Bar is easily my favorite restaurant at SFU. The food is delicious, the service and atmosphere are great.
  The only downside is it's a little pricey. $13+ for a good meal with no drink.
