“I don't normally write reviews and I thought I would share my great experience at this UBC postal outlet but I was surprised to see the last 2 reviewers have had less than pleasant experience. After reading their reviews I soon realized that these 2 must be the kind of people who expect people do work for them and get upset if they don't get what they want. @Jenny Xu and Lex...while I was waiting in line I saw a sign at both counters about their policy accepting returns which states that all returns must be ready to ship. I'm guessing you asked them to print your label and help you pack your return? People!! Anyway...I was there last Saturday to mail my parcel to HK, the place was busy but the line went super quick, thanks to both clerks, they were very efficient. I was helped by the tall man, when I handed him my box, he shook the box a bit and without thinking he told me that if I don't need tracking then I have to reduce the size of the box a little bit otherwise I won't have any choice but to ship it with tracking and that will cost well over $100. I doubted him at first and asked him to double check and he did by putting it on the scale and entering the box measurements. What he told me was right. So I asked him what to do to send it cheaper, he looked at the line behind me and there was only 1 person waiting and he said he would help me repack my box. He grabbed an exacto knife, cut opened the box, in less than 2 minutes the box was 4 inches shorter in height. He was like a surgeon with that exacto knife. Pretty amazing. And now the cost to ship has come down to about $60. Thank you, Sir! Very few people would go out of their way to help others but you did. Don't let the bad reviewers discourage you. I'm sure there are a lot more people who appreciate your kind work. Keep up the good work!”
