(March 31, 2019, 11:14 pm)Before I went there to find a yellow-flowered honeysuckle (Lonicera) - growing vines especially clematis is their house trade, I had looked up on the Internet. The variety 'Sensation' seemed interesting, among some others. I did not find it. I got L. x 'Mandarin', yellow and orange, a UBC introduction.
The store is a usual sort of garden centre, no comprehensive or specialist offerings of plants. A kind of place where housewives (don't hate me for saying so; I saw them) shop to replenish usual annuals and get not-so-unusual perennials on a whim. A gravel parking area. Located just off the Highway #1. The elder owner is often seen helping customers to choose plants. He helped me once selecting a honeysuckle and clematis.
(March 28, 2019, 7:09 pm)Wonderful selection of garden plants and decorations. It would be helpful to have signage as to what can be planted now and what still needs a greenhouse. A large board listing what monthly plants are blooming, shade or sun loving, bee attracting, deer resistant etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Great parking and easy to maneuver through aisles.
