“Michelle is a very talented hair stylist with decades of experience. She got poached from a very well-known men's barber shop in Delta, BC. If you are shy, discombobulated, or not sure what to do with your hair, or you are looking for advice on a new hairstyle look no further than Michelle at Royal Cuts. Other hair stylists would cut my hair too short, use the electric-trimmer, and rush through the cut. She knew exactly how much hair to take off, and what would be a safe length for my cut for my hair type. If you have thinning hair she knows how to help you. She was totally willing to use the scissors and asked up front if I wanted scissors or the electric trimmer. I hadn't seen my curls in years and it made me so happy to look in the mirror and see it again.”

Every time we go in for services at UpTown, we know we are being taken care of by the experts in the industry who are very experienced and up-to-date with their training/knowledge in the spa industry. “Maria Jaggard's product is very high quality, good value and responsive service. Before I found Maria Jaggard Salon I wasted so much money on hair. I had a system from Pacific Hair Downtown Vancouver which was similar in cost (maintenance of the Pacific Hair system was much more expensive) but the system at Pacific Hair was so poor quality, it only last 2.5 months (in comparison, 2 years later I still have my system from Maria Jaggard) and they took no responsibility for the quality of the product. Maria Jaggard Salon provides high quality service, a high quality product and stands by their product. I have been a customer for 2 years and counting.”

“I did not believe that I could ever feel the way I do after being at the salon! I have spent countless hours, and dollars going to high end salons wanting a change for my long, dark, curly hair, and walked out pretty much the same. I had decided to try ONE LAST TIME. I had looked at the reviews for Salon Chez Pierre, all were fantastic, but of course, I was still skeptical. I was able to make an appointment for the very next day , so in I went. I was immediately comfortable walking in, and we got started. I left 6 hours later with incredible hair, and feeling like a refreshed, new woman! Pierre and Abby are very personable, and honest. They will let you know what your hair can do, and what will look good on you. They are true professional artists. You will never walk out of there disappointed. They don't push expensive products on you, and the two chickens (puppies) will be more than happy to keep you company. I had my hair done two weeks ago, and I get compliments every single day - I truly love how my hair looks, feels, and the versatility of it. I have found my Salon. Thank you!!!”

“Have been going to see Angelika, the owner for over 12 years. Have followed her where ever she goes. She is an amazing stylist...stays up to date with the latest techniques, and is all about the best customer service. Have never been over charged, more like the opposite. Have recommended several friends to see her and they are so happy with her and her salon. One had to get a repair done from another salon that destroyed her hair and is so grateful that Angelika was able to save her hair. She stands by her work as do her staff and knows every single customer she has by name. Reading 2 of the negative reviews from James Thompson and Maria Emerson who are not even customers of this salon ...wondering if just trolling, as there seems to be some new competition with the new hair salon down the road. From my experience with Angelika..she cares about her clients hair and if it's not what you want will fix at no cost and always open and available to deal with any issues.
