  We own a rental unit in Sechelt but live in Vancouver. Our fireplace needed to be replaced and our tenant was having issues with the lack of heat. After numerous requests for quotes from the fireplace companies on the Coast with no replies we went to see Fireplace by Maxwell. The owner Noel was amazing. We told him our situation and he gave us his expert opinion on the various options we had for our unit. Because there were so many components (in our opinion) in getting our old fireplace taken out and a new one installed and refinished, Noel patiently walked us through the whole process. He even agreed to step in and handle some of the steps saving us from having to arrange additional trades people. Noel then called a couple of times to follow up. We were so impressed (as we continued to wait for other quotes) that we decided to go ahead with Fireplace by Maxwell. It was the best decision we made. What could have been a difficult process was super easy. Fireplace by Maxwell gave us a date and time and arrived in Sechelt exactly as promised. They completed the work in a day as they said they would do and left everything clean. Our tenant was super impressed as we were. Noel and his group will take care of you. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, reasonable priced and have impeccable customer service. Thank you Noel.

  I have worked with the team at Maxwell for a little over 2 years now throughout plenty of projects and I must say working with these guys is as easy as it gets. Darren; my main contact and likely any customers first contact when you enter their showroom , right through to the gentlemen on site handling installations! They know how to take care of my clients; extremely professional, their pricing is very reasonable, and I would say the two most important things to me as a business owner and fellow tradesman: excellent communication, and customer care. They have continuously catered to our dynamic schedules (ours and our clients) and provide quality work time and time again. Very highly recommended. Excellent work guys!

  Noel and Darren were both exceptional. From our initial visit to the Maxwell premises where Darren walked us through all one could possibly hope to learn about fireplaces, to Noel's site visit a week later we knew we could trust this team. We love our new fireplace and look forward to adding a second to our basement in the near future courtesy of Maxwell. Excellent service and products!

  Our new Fireplace by Maxwell is one of our best decisions we made for our living room. The service was excellent and the crew was very efficient and courteous and knew their product, and the installation was a breeze. We are very happy with our decision and the result. We lit it immediately and we, including our dog, did not want to move away from it. We certainly highly recommend a Maxwell Fireplace installation to any homeowner!

  Very happy with advice, installation and overall service of new gas fireplace, from Maxwell, into our older non-conventional wood burning fireplace. They made sure we were happy with all aspects of the installation and product. A complete service and we now have appropriate heating (& good looking gas insert) for our "grand room".
