Always a great hike. River level pretty high right due to all the rain we have had. Couldn't get to norvan falls, stream was too high and didn't want to get wet.
Great hike be prepared tell someone where you are going.. Be safe drink water. Lovely trail lots of great view.
Excellent hike be prepared .. 4hour return flat easy long hike worth it. Water falls. You may think your in your backyard but remember your NOT!!
BE CAREFUL BE SAFE
Love this hike, minor ups and downs. Not steep. First part is full of every type of hiker/walker. Farther you go, less people you see and the more technical it gets. Watch for mud after a rain fall.
I've done this many times, I love the into the wood section of the hiking, which is beautiful, especially a after rain. There is also a flat paved variation next to the river, to make it a circle, instead of a return trip. I've tried it once, it bored me to death with it's flatness, so never again. Always hike into the woods or hike up to the peak
