“The garden has a free side and a paid side. The free is nice place to go to get away from the city but it can get a bit muddy during after the rain and crowded during the weekend. The paid side is more serene and tranquil with covered areas and intimate gardens. There's even a small gallery with hot tea and a few other exhibits. I always enjoy going to the garden both on the paid and free sides.”

“Big square shaped, tree lined, except for one tree, that caused a minor wind shadow, but enough space to avoid it. Not a lot of wind, but enough to get a couple good runs in, fly my kite. ?”

“It's a simple park nice to walk your dog and spend some relaxing time with the kids (if you have them) in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. Not much to do otherwise since is just a lot with grass and a playground BUT, if you live nearby, that is an excellent place to go and play when it snows ? (see attached picture). Although I have to admit, the park is pretty since is surrounded by trees and it has some benches.”

“I have been researching every children’s playground in the Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge etc area and thought this one would stand out. The true test is seeing how my three year old daughter takes to an area and how she interacts with others and the equipment itself. This playground has a lot of options and is spaced out quite nicely. We have only visited one time and I was quite impressed. My daughter enjoyed herself but asked to leave sooner than many other play areas. We will be back again and will see if it grows on her. Other parents were friendly and the kids overall were friendly too which usually seals the deal and my daughter doesn’t want to leave. She especially enjoyed the monkey bars, the spiral slide and the little zip line. Overall a good time and place for kids to utilize their physical prowess.”

“Lovely park in the middle of the city. Beautiful large evergreen trees. Small unpaved trails. Well maintained. Except for the whole summer and early fall there is water in the creek (at admin on GT Way) for the dogs. Smells fresh because it's jam-packed with trees. Parking on north and west sides too but I always park off Green Timbers Way and start from there, where there are admin buildings and an educational nature area. There is a small lake close to 104 parking area (fishing rods can be rented though never done it so not sure about cost or from where). Lots of open space to run a dog both near the admin (GT) and near the lake (140), and both wide walking paths and "deer" trails meander between 104 and 96 (north and south), and 140 and 148 (west and east) so you can vary your route as often or as little as you like. Easy one hour (or more) walk. Not a lot of people early on in the day but it gets progressively more throughout, and even in winter there is always someone walking around, though fewer. A great option.”

“Don't let the size fool you, This Service yard is one of the best In Vancouver. City staff are highly professional, well trained and very polite, They do an excellent job of keeping Jericho beach and surrounding parks clean and looking great. The public washrooms located outside could use a renovation but they are regularly cleaned and in perfect working order.”
