Beautiful sunshine, great views.
What a great place. Lots of wildlife. Often see deer, sea otters, birds. Watch out for bears!
Very peaceful & easy walk for the family. Lots of birds & wild life. I even found small Turkey tail mushroom. And small blue trumpet?
I was expecting to see a wide variety of birds there today, nope, only a whole bunch of seagulls, a few crows, a heron, and a few small tree birds that's it. No osprey, no eagle, probably the wrong season but I have seen a lot more in other parks in GVRD
Secret gem of the North Shore, last area with remnants of what the harbor and inlet originally looked like. So much wildlife packed into such a relatively small area. Lots of trails to walk around the area. Don't come expecting to hang out on the "beach/rocks," this is a nature preserve and you are supposed to walk and look, but not touch wildlife or bring garbage. Also don't be one of those people who bring kids that just throw rocks into the ocean. The area is super fragile and doesn't need that, take your kids to Ambleside.
