Assini Greek Restaurant Pizza & Pasta

We went here as the other place we where at failed to serve us after an hour of being seated. Anouther story. I had the baked spaghetti. I'm not a huge pasta fan but I do like baked spaghetti, and this one did not disappoint! Had good flavor and the portion size was good. The garlic bread complimented it well. My only complaint would be forgotten ordered items that where remembered, just after the fact..(1/2 L of wine and a beer) it's ok we still got them just a little later then we had hoped for. Other then that we got served and everyone seemed to enjoy there meal.

Great meal tonight....Chicken souvlaki was so tender and tasty. Large portions, great service. We will be back.

My family and I had came to celebrate our sibling's birthday. It's our first time and we were very much looking forward to the experience. What ensued was not what we had planned. The sat for an hour and 20 minutes post ordering our food with only salad and appies served. The crowd was getting anxious and impatient. What certainly didn't help with the experience was the waitree' remarks of "you came on a busy night" with a lack of apologetic tone. We were getting ready to walk out and decided to talk to the owner before doing so. What happened after here was a great example of rescuing the customer's experience.

The owner promptly had the food brought out, not only gave us two pieces, but everyone got a healthy slice of cakes (there were 9 of us).

Furthermore, they made two entrees and an appy on the house to which we did not request at all.

He truly rescued the experience and hence I am leaving this review in detail.

We stumbled on this restaurant. When you drive up it looks like a little take out pizza place but please go in. The food was amazing!!. The restaurant was cozy and nicely decorated and clean. The waitress was fantastic. I will definitely go back.
