Big Star Sandwich Co.

Had the 1/2 lbs corned beef sandwich. Tasty meat but I paid $14+. Way overpriced. Had to go to the A&W next door to grab a burger. That sandwich should have been $7. Funny thing is I got the pickle because I asked for it after I paid. Otherwise no pickle. Yikes.

Went there in the mood for a sandwich after some good words from friends that live nearby. I got the 26 (vegetarian) and the 8 (turkey ham and swiss).

The sandwiches weren't bad, but they sure as heck weren't great. The bread wasn't toasted or warm and tasted almost stale, the vegetarian sandwich I got was ten dollars and had 4 slices of tomatoes and cucumbers and some lettuce and sauce. Cheese, which was nice, but there was mostly bread to a thin layer of sauce and veggies.

Man did I feel like I was ripped off buying two sandwiches and a pickle and spending $26.

Tried it once. Don't feel the need to ever spend my money there again. Wasn't bad, sure wasn't good.

I will say it was very clean and staff was friendly. Ingredients were fresh.

First impression: extremely clean.
Went in the other day for a light snack just a few hours before going out to dinner.
The gentleman working suggested a ‘child’ size sandwich. Very good and took the edge off so to speak.
Will definitely go there again , for a complete meal .

Great experience. Fresh sandwich (I had the #2). Friendly service. Will go back.
