The amount of attention and care we've gotten from Dr. Susan and Jim has been phenomenal, working with them to develop a medication and diet plan for our cat. Everyone at cats at home cares deeply for our cat's well-being and it's refreshing to have a veterinarian who isn't just trying to get you in and out but actually spends time working with you for the health of your cat. We feel we're finally getting answers and a true path to a long and healthy life for our Duke.

Dr. Susan is a knowledgeable, kind, gentle Vet. She looked after my sphynx kitty who developed heart disease until the very end. She even gave me an emergency email to keep in touch and responded quickly each time I had concerns. I recommend her to all my cat loving friends!

We just started taking our kitties here and the veterinarian and staff are amazing! We have had issues with our cats being aggressive at the vet and it has caused us anxiety taking them. They had so many great tips for managing their stress before appointments and during. They are great at handling our cats too! We never had a good check up on our cats before because the cats fought so much. Our previous vet never took the time to explain anything either. Dr. Thompson is so thorough and detailed, and the staff explain things afterward in detail. I leave there feeling really confident about the care our kitties are getting!

There’s a story I want to share that will show just what kind of vet she really is...our cat, Peanut, was 11yrs old & was at the end of his fight with leukaemia. We knew that one morning in 2009 was going to be his last and we needed to bring him to the clinic. Dr Thompson was on holidays but came into the clinic so Peanut would not have unnecessary stress dealing with a stranger in his last moments.
This is a vet that truly cares!

My cat Maui became very sick, very fast. Dr Susan Thompson was very thorough and thoughtful in her initial examination. I was very worried and the staff was so sweet and reassuring. Maui was taken home each night by Dr Thompson so that she could monitor her. She phoned me in the evenings and mornings to update me on any changes. They always made sure that I was aware of the costs of Maui’s treatment, there was no surprises. The knowledge and professionalism is second to none at this clinic. I will never go anywhere else again! I truly feel that if I had not brought Maui to the Cats at Home Clinic she wouldn’t be with me at home today.
