Cloverdale Baptist Church

Best church in the Lower Mainland...if you're looking for good doctrine, good preaching, good children's minsitry, worship and fellowship.

I don't attend there regularly but know many that do, abd I have attended multiple services and events there across the years.

For those that are interested in categories, Cloverdale is:

1. Calvinistic
2. Dispensational
3. Premillennial
4. Pretribulational
5. Cessationist
6. Creationist (YEC)
7. A church that practices discipline and biblical (nouthetic) counseling.
8. Anabaptist
9. Complentarian
10. Evangelistic

Cloverdale is NOT:

1. Family integrated
2. KJV Only
3. Quiverfull
4. Gothardite
5. Reformed (capital R)
6. Confessional
7. Paedobaptist
8. Aggressively into Street Preaching.
9. Charismatic

Cloverdale would be the closest you'd get, in the Vancouver area, to Bethlehem Baptist (Piper) and Grace Community Church (MacArthur). It's the church I would recommend above all others in the greater Vancouver area...if you are into those theological streams.

Also, there's plenty of great people in Cloverdale. The church isn't that big (700 or so), which means that they have lots of ministries but haven't gotten so big that you are a nameless face. It's a busy church that has something for everyone, and they do things with excellence.

Other churches are good, but Cloverdale is great.

Great local church with astonishingly good preaching. We were neighbours for years and they were always very respectful, especially during the building of the new facility. The facility itself is beautiful inside. I deeply respect Pastor Rob, and the other people I have met from this church.
