(December 25, 2017, 1:40 am)This community impresses me with their smart layout and their their engaging recreation.
In terms of layout, I appreciate that they've designed the community so people can access dining areas directly on the floors they live on. Most Independent Living or Assisted Living communities rely on elevators to move the residents to and from their respective floors before and after meal times. The pre and post meal experience is very easy on Fleetwood Villa residents because the design is user friendly.
I was fortunate to witness an Christmas music performance attended (and enjoyed) by a packed room of residents. They had a buffet of desserts, singers sashaying through the crowd and an array of frontline and management staff on hand to engage the crowd while ringing in the season.
Lastly, they have an arts and craft room, hair salon and a private dining room for families wanting to celebrate in a space of their own.
