Nice location, lovely ambience, great steak and burgers. And love their Billy Miner pie!
Very reliable for menu, service and quality. Had my usual blue cheese filet, which was excellent as always. Their wine list has a great selection of high quality local wines.
A standard all steakhouses should have; quality, service and atmosphere. Price: expensive. For all my visits throughout the years this chain restaurant has often got it right, and when it doesn’t meet expectations, they will certainly try to make it up to its customers. Their bone in rib eye steak is a favourite as well as their prime rib. Billy miner’s pie: dangerously good. Secret streak not on the menu: 24 oz Prime Rib if you can handle it!
Service was decent, regular the keg kinda service that servers never look happy for what they do. But they r nice to get you what you need. We ordered more entrees and appetizers so I have let our server know in advance that we will be sharing all these dishes. But after serving our food I still had to him for sharing plates. I guess people here don’t usually share food. ? but we had 5 appetizers & 4 entrees for 3 people. Anyway, server was a nice guy but I wouldn’t say a professional server. Food was really good. So good that we ordered more dishes than we needed. I would come again ... if their food quality is consistent, which I found is a problem to some of other the keg locations. I can only find out after I try this location again.
We visited this the Keg restaurant last week. The dinning experience were excellent. Foods were superb and staff were extremely friendly. We did not make a reservation and arrived around 5:30pm (they open at 5:00pm) but it was full already. As our granddaughter did not want to leave, while we were pampering her, the restaurant manager, Webster, came and tried to accommodate us to a comfortable seats. To avoid overloading his staff, he serve us personally. The most touching move was he voluntarily offered to bring a dish of french fries for our granddaughter. I really wish all restaurant staff can learn from this simple move. Dinning with toddler can be very frustrated if food were presented slowly. A plate of crispy french fries will do all the magic.
We ordered a Chicago style bone-in rib which is huge, juicy and tender, a lobster and steak and a roasted chicken with BBQ rib. The Chicago style bone in rib is highly recommended. The roasted chicken and BBQ rib was so unique and tasty. Lobster were juicy and tender. Bread were made in store daily and remember to ask for 3 cheese butter which is super with hot bread.
