Vij's

I would say it is North American style Indian restaurant. Liked the rooftop area. This was the first time I saw that Gobi(Cauliflower) can be combined with chicken dish. Nice experience.

I live in Ontario and Vij's was recommended to me by one of the chefs I work with. We absolutely loved our meal, the aromas and flavours were all spectacular. Vij himself was also coming around to the tables checking in on how people were enjoying his food. Beautiful patio as well. Would absolutely go here again next time we are in Vancouver!

To be clear - Vij's is Not classic Indian cuisine. It's a fusion of non traditional ingredients and great flavours. It works! Definitely worth experiencing - you won't be disappointed. Service is great and all staff consistently is positive and helpful. Go to Vij's - make a reservation - we used OpenTable.

I’ve been to Vij’s twice. In the new location and the old location. Food is always excellent. Seems like a fusion between traditional Indian food with other influences. Our waiter had some great suggestions that turned out to be the best dishes we had. They also bring around little snack dishes before your meal that are nice to try.

Five Stars! Excellent service; prompt, courteous staff. Amazing food! The "pork spoon" is sooo delicious and still craving it weeks later. One thing unique that Vij's did is that they served us a small bite to eat BEFORE taking our drink order - fantastic idea for hospitality.
