“I moved here from across the country with United but unfortunately it took me a few weeks to find a place to live in Vancouver. In the meantime United stored my stuff. When it was finally time to move it the last 8 km to my new place, they wanted to charge me $900! Now I was expecting some extra fees but not that much. So I decided to see if I could find someone else to move it for cheaper. These guys were able to do for $300 on only one day notice. Amazing. They saved me a whole bunch of money. They also showed up exactly on time and did a great job moving all my stuff. The whole move only took 1.5 hours total, very painless. Their rate is $100 per hour which is slightly higher than some other companies. However they only charge a minimum of 2 hours and most other companies charge 3. (Plus a hour fee which all companies seem to have.) So if you know your move will be fast, this might be your cheapest option.”
