(October 5, 2018, 3:15 pm)A small park in the middle of a horse racing track. It is open in afternoons until sunset or 5:30pm, whichever is easier. The land is part of Hastings park and owned by the city of Vancouver then leased by the Hastings race coarse organization. There is great views of burrard inlet and the the north shore mountains. There is plenty of free or paid paid parking. Free parking is on the streets surrounding Hastings park or in nearby New Brighton Park. There is easy transit connections from downtown Vancouver by either #95 bus on Hastings street, #4 bus on Renfrew and #16 on Renfrew with connections with Skytrain.
