“The garden has a free side and a paid side. The free is nice place to go to get away from the city but it can get a bit muddy during after the rain and crowded during the weekend. The paid side is more serene and tranquil with covered areas and intimate gardens. There's even a small gallery with hot tea and a few other exhibits. I always enjoy going to the garden both on the paid and free sides.”

“Big square shaped, tree lined, except for one tree, that caused a minor wind shadow, but enough space to avoid it. Not a lot of wind, but enough to get a couple good runs in, fly my kite. ?”

“It's a simple park nice to walk your dog and spend some relaxing time with the kids (if you have them) in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. Not much to do otherwise since is just a lot with grass and a playground BUT, if you live nearby, that is an excellent place to go and play when it snows ? (see attached picture). Although I have to admit, the park is pretty since is surrounded by trees and it has some benches.”

“A fine park to walk and sit and enjoy a bit of nature. Good for safe distancing too. Reasonably well maintained as well. Generally not crowded and lots of space to move.”

“This meadow has been enlarged to incorporate the outdoor classroom seating. The field was replanted to allow better drainage. This is the traditional site for Earth Day Vancouver. The meadow was named after Manfred Hagen one of the parks earliest naturalists.”

“Don't let the size fool you, This Service yard is one of the best In Vancouver. City staff are highly professional, well trained and very polite, They do an excellent job of keeping Jericho beach and surrounding parks clean and looking great. The public washrooms located outside could use a renovation but they are regularly cleaned and in perfect working order.”
Address: 2250 Trimble St, Vancouver, BC V6R 4G9, Canada
“AFAIK this is the same park as Trimble Park. Average playground for smaller kids and a slightly more challenging one for older kids. There is a climbing rock. Wading pool is only open on specific days and times, you have to check online. Has public washrooms. Great spot for bbqs or picnics as there are areas shaded by trees but limited permanent tables, they no longer have the moveable ones which were great. Good spot to watch the summer fireworks at the east end of the park. Couple community events are hosted here annually, including the Point Grey Fiesta.”

“Nice sidewalk/ bike path. Well signed. Nice to be able to avoid heavy traffic on roads if you are on foot. Not a direct route to shopping or hotel if you are in a hurry. Nothing for kids, but mostly away from the roads.”

“The trails are great to get around. They can save a lot of time, especially if you miss the bus on one side you can go to the other and catch it. I found it has better lighting then the sidewalks. It's often used by people walking their dogs. There are plenty of benches if you need a rest. The concrete does need a little bit of work, because all of the trees. There are plenty of trails leading to the road. Not every Co-op is welcoming of people traveling through them.”

“For EXPO 1986, GRACE McCARTHY, the Minister of Transportation at the time, contacted all multicultural immigrants in Vancouver, to construct park-like gardens along the new Sky Train route. The idea was that each community "adopt" a garden and take care of it in cooperation with the local parks board. At this location, the German community built this plaza to celebrate the German heritage in Vancouver. On the monument is many sponsors or organizations. The Germans call this Deutscher Platz and there is a City of Vancouver street sign to show this. It is a nice place to sit and relax.”
