Hanoi Old Quarter Restaurant

I went early morning at 11AM on the weekend and the whole restaurant filled up by noon! This restaurant serves northern Vietnamese food, so don't expect your typical southern flavours.

Each dish that they have is very unique. I ordered the beef rice rolls, vermicelli with pork hock soup, and a plate of rice sheets with spring rolls and meatballs. I forgot the names of these dishes.

Overall the main entrees are on the higher price range (on average $15). It is clean tasting and fresh! I liked the spring rolls and meatballs.
Portions are ok in size.

The service is excellent. Unfortunately, the food is the opposite. I would not come back unfortunately as there're other good Vietnamese restaurants in town

Recently discovered this place. It has a few of my childhood favorite vietnamese dishes from Hanoi and done properly. Will definitely be back! Great service and food!!

The service is good and the server is polite. The dishes are above average. They tastes differently. The decorations are excellent. I ordered pork chop rice. I found that the rice portion is too small and not enough vegetables. The price is estimated around four to five dollars more than most Vietnamese restaurants.

From the owners of Mr Red cafe comes this charming little joint! Its small focused menu is dedicated to Northern Vietnamese fare. Their price point is a bit higher compared to the neighboring restaurants but they're offering a unique taste. Familiar in the fish sauce, but different in presentation and style.
