惊叹麻辣烫 Amazing Spicy Hotpot

It's very flavourful. Price is fair. Staff is friendly. I order take out from here from time to time :)

I was thrown off by the Chinese characters in the restaurant name, but this turned out to be a pretty good dining experience. The menu was the most off-putting part; it's confusing trying to piece your meal together, and we didn't realize how large the soup bowls were (definitely recommend sharing if you can agree on a base). It's cool that you can choose both the spiciness and numbing levels. It was a pleasant surprise that our server was able to explain the menu in very fluent English.

This place offers lots of variety for things to add to your pot, with non spicy soup base options as well as spicy options. It is different from the typical hot pot restaurants since everything is cooked before coming to the table, but it seems to work better that way in my opinion. Clean and comfortable dining area with cute wall decor. Service is good and quick, and the first time my wife and I went we were explained how the menu went. Have been back a few times since and we love it! Extremely tasty and filling.
