Truffles fine foods

Had some yummy cinnamon bunch with pecans, walnuts and cream cheese icing and it was so delicious.
Hot cocoa and Baileys was a hit too.

We got their picnic basket to bring out to the garden and we were surprised they also provided a nice picnic mat. So sweet!

Food was quite nice and atmosphere is great.
The one concern was rude customer service. It seemed that anyone can grab your order and an inquiry results in a rude answer.

Good atmosphere. The choice of food is limited but is good. We ordered a Sandwich with Brie and Turkey; I thought it would be amazing but it was bland, it needed some greens or sliced tomatoes. The Bread seemed a bit dry. I asked if I could have a mix of two salads but I wasn't allowed although they were both the same price and I also ordered a large salad. Like other reviewer said, Truffles has potential. It needs more pizzaz.

The patio is absolutely wonderful as is the botanical garden. One orders food and/or drinks at the counter. If the food needs to be heated or grilled they'll give you a number sign for your table and the food is brought out to you when it's ready to be served. Sounds all simple, but for some reason the process confuses many people including the staff. Here is where they can improve: Better Inventory control as they appear to run out of items quite frequently. Improve the variety of beers, which is beyond poor. Provide more shade on the patio, customers shouldn't have to scramble to find a shady spot. And finally, assign one staff member to clear the tables. Leaving all the tables consistently dirty is unacceptable. Self serve still requires some service. The food is good for lunch or a midday snack. The place has enormous potential, it could be a hidden gem. So let's see some improvements.
