Cool place. Quasi cool staff. Long story. Customer comes first. Remember that guys. Amazing amazing sandwiches. Best around. But tone down the judgement. Will not be returning even though food was fantastic.
I’ve had the pear sandwich serveral times before, yet every single bite is both exhilarating and the best bite I’ve ever had. It’s like a new adventure with someone I must have known in a past life
Such an amazing atmosphere. So relaxed so inviting. And the food is great.
Wonderful neighbourhood breakfast + lunch spot. All the dishes and baked goods are great, pair well with their coffee. There's some nice local groceries available to buy too.
Finch's Market is a nice neighborhood cafe. The market is a combination of a coffee bar with a light food menu and a market with a few staple groceries such as some root vegetables.
The market is located in a busy neighborhood near Chinatown and parking is a challenge. There are many parking restrictions on the nearby streets and the residents will call bylaw if they see you parking illegally. When I went on a Tuesday morning, I had to park over two blocks away, even though the cafe was empty.
The interior of the cafe is beautiful. It features lots of heritage wood and feels like your grandmother's kitchen. The antique fridge is a cute feature. This would be a great spot to grab a morning coffee after a night on the town. Or a cute spot to meet a date.
The staff misunderstood my order, but was quick to resolve the issue and apologetic. It was likely due to a language barrier and that he was new. I appreciated that the manager came over right away and assisted me and corrected the issue.
I'd like to try the cafe again and hopefully when I have more time to enjoy some of the food as well. But, next time I'd probably walk there.
