Blue Gentian Lake

What a fantastic location up in the mountains. Beautiful hike with some great stretches along the way... Worth the trip, even though it's more than a "beginner hike"...

Beautiful lake. Nice break from hiking up on the trail. I don't think its a good lake for swimming.

Its a tranquil spot for hiking. The lake is too shallow for swimming, but its beautifully photogenic. There is one picnic table for your packed lunch. I hike here with my girlfriends to sit on the lakeside and chat. One of them owns the dog who loves the shallow lake for frolicking!

a good place to have a break or a lunch when you had a intense hiking from the bottom of the mountain.

Beautiful foggy lake with boardwalk in some areas. Easy connection to Lost Lake and the various trails around Brother's Creek.
