Usually I love that store. Service, price, great. That's why I don't feel great to leave not a positive review. I brought my vacuum in, telling them, that sometimes the motor stops. So I thought maybe a lose wire or the cable. Kept it to take a look. That was Wednesday afternoon. Next day I got the call, it's fixed. Picked it up Saturday, payed 65$, tried it on Monday, and the vacuum didn't do one peep. Nothing, nada, completely dead. Monday the store is closed. Rushed to my boyfriend's place, switched our vacuums, and asked him to bring mine back next day (i'm in the cleaning business, so my vacuum is my business). He brought it in, and when they tried it, it started perfectly. My bf took it home, and tried it after work, and it was completely dead. Brought it back Thursday, and of course it started again right away, but they kept it again to take another look. After the call it's repaired, I picked it up Saturday. They replaced the motor (no costs for me). Used it on Tuesday morning, it was working, Tuesday afternoon, dead again. I brought it on Wednesday to another shop, picked it up Saturday, paid 90$ for 2 parts inside (they were obviously broken), and they replaced the cable, which was also broken, so now power could get through.
Idk what was wrong that time with the shop in White Rock, usually they fix everything. They even can bring a hairdryer to make coffee. But this time I felt they didn't take my issue serious or didn't care. Very disappointing, especially since I am a long-term customer
This gentleman was great.i was looking for electrolux parts, no problem, he had the part & he didn't try to sell me new vacuum like other locations I went????
Came to WR Vacuum & Sewing to get a second opinion about my 12 year old Miele vacuum. It had stopped working after I tripped on the cord. I had initially taken the vacuum to another local (hint BigG) vacuum shop and was told that the problem was actually the motor and, because it was so old, my only option was to buy a new vacuum. Thankfully, WR Vacuum & Sewing was able to fix the cord (no issues with the motor) and had my vacuum working in just a few days! And the repair charge was less than $50!
I appreciate the honestly and fantastic customer service at White Rock Vacuum & Sewing!
Took my Kitchen aid stand mixer in, the beater was banging on the sides of the bowl. I know there is an easy fix with a dime but I just couldn't get it. So I packed it all up expecting to pay for a repair, no he just went and got he's screwdriver & fixed it up in a couple of minutes. ....NO CHARGE. There just isn't many places left with customer service. I'll be back again.
