Beautiful Cherry blossoms right beside it
I really enjoyed Starry Nights, a free event put on every clear Friday night. You get to look through people's telescopes and see planets and faraway galaxies. The volunteers that run the observatory are excellent as well. Stop by if it's open, you will enjoy it.
I absolutely love the observatory. The volunteers are wonderful, friendly and passionate about space. Also the telescope is incredibly cool.
Volunteers are happy to share their expert knowledge on Astronomical facts (planets, moons, satellites and stars), wonderful experience and fantastic job by the volunteers.
Thanks guys.. to each of you there, you guys are awesome !!!!
Every month there is a public (free) event in the evening called "Starry Nights". Anyone can visit the observatory and take a look through the telescope. The Royal Astronomy Society of Canada (RASC) members bring their own personal telescopes so people can see other objects as well. An enjoyable event.
