Sungiven Foods (Burnaby Hastings Store)

Great selection and great prices! I get my oat milk and fruit juice there because it’s surprisingly a lot cheaper than large-surface stores like Safeway! They have a wide selection of vegetables and always seems fresh, the staff is constantly stocking the shelves and I appreciate that this is one of the only stores I have yet to see understaffed. Definitely a great new addition to Burnaby Heights neighbourhood, I love this place!

Conveniently located on Hastings Street in Burnaby with plenty public transit and free parking lots around.
I find many products are probably better quality than other stores with reasonable prices.

Love my neighborhood Chinese grocery store. I wish it was as big as the one in Richmond or City Square, but better than nothing. It's clean and well organized. I would love it if they had more cooked food to offer.

Fresh produce and good selection of grab and go food and most of the staff spoke English and were very helpful. I only gave 4 stars because the cashier spoke very limited English and was somewhat rude. He was a younger man. Looked like he was in his early 20s. I had a question on prices as the discount for the complimentary rice appeared as several varying discounts. But he couldn't answer the question me. I didn't want to hold up the lineup so I just left the issue.

It's convenient. The quality is good but you're definitely paying more than you would at Safeway. I'd say it's an Asian whole foods but with less organic stuff. Their dumpling wrappers are a little thick. They have unique items like fresh fish noodle. I like their freezer Isle. Their fruit selection is great.
