Allen is such an extraordinary technician. I’ve never been more impressed with in-home service. He was kind, professional, went above and beyond. He even gave helpful suggestions for future preventions. Two big thumbs up for him! Highly recommend.

Water Hammer Gone! Gone! Gone!

I had water hammer in my master bathroom (when Toilet fill valve shuts down, it made loud bang noises + faucet(cold water tap) closing, it also made noises) for years . However, the bang didn’t come directly from the toilet or the faucet but it came from the opposite wall. Well, I went through 4 plumbers prior to meeting Allen, and all failed miserably. I was losing faith in fixing the problem and even thought about doing the complete Reno of the bathroom prepared to spend lots of money on it. Well, all of those plumbers who came before made false promises and didn’t end up fixing it at all; some assured me that replacing toilet valve will cure it but it did nothing. Some suggested to drain the water in system of the entire house and some suggested to replace the fill valve of the toilet. This plumber even suggested to replace the toilet and kitchen faucet together. Well, nothing fixed it. This one plumber told me that I was being too sensitive about the noise and it won’t cause any problem. They all charge the diagnostic fee + unnecessary repairs that didn’t fix a thing.
Then I was introduced to Allen from Aquastatic Mechanical Ltd by one of my other contractors who spoke highly of him. Well, after those 4 failed attempts with plumbing companies, I was losing faith. However, Allen pointed out two possibilities. He pointed out the faulty pressure reducer valve of the Water (from the city). He fixed it and the water bang was reduced quite a bit but still there. He then examined about 10 min and suggested the shower cartridge replacement; Allen didn't waste a min in investigating where the source is. Then the water hammer is long gone within in 20 min. I was extremely happy to see that. Now the headache of the water hammer noise is gone. Now I think about it, the water main pressure valve was faulty giving it so much stress on every single pipe in the house. It was matter of time that some of the joints start leaking damaging the whole house. How come none of those plumbers knew about it or even think about checking on it? I don’t know but I guess the degree of professionalism varies greatly when it comes down to plumbing. Allen is awesome. He came in on time, was very quick but his attention to detail was on spot. I never saw someone who charges by hourly rate works so fast and diligent.
After going through all these over the past few years, I hope my review can be helpful to the people experiencing headaches with the plumbing issues. Highly recommend him. Fast! Knowledgeable, detailed and most importantly gets the job done. Thanks Allen.

I call two heating companies for my old gas fireplace and one company said he can't fix it because it's too old and the other company said that it has to be replaced whole gas fireplace. I didn't wanna spend that much money. I just called this company and he said he can fix it and he fixed!! He is honest and he was working very hard even though he charge by hour. I am so happy~
