I met Mia (Turn Tech) at the "Girls fly to" event held at the Abbotsford Airport, She was showing and demonstrating DJI drones (not flying). I am interested in drones and have wanted one for sometime but was hesitant taking the step to actually buy. During the two days of the event I talked with Mia and asked a few questions and received the answers that encouraged me to continue my interest. Mia did not try to sell me a drone she did more than that. She showed me the Mavic Mini 2 and explained that it was one the best drones for beginners. Mentioned that I should compare the Mavic drones with other brands before buying. Emphasized that it did not require a license to operate but also emphasized that one must be aware of the rules and regulations for drone flying. Mia gave me her card and told me that if I have any questions at all on the subject to email or call. Mia has even offered to help with my 1st flight. I have taken her offer and have contacted Mia numerous times with my questions. I received prompt answers. However, with the horrible weather, and my sincere fear of covide I have yet to meet her for a flying lesson. I will eventually make an appointment with Mia for that lesson, hopefully soon. If anyone reading this is interested in drones, beginners or more qualified, meeting and discussing your interests with her will be a rewarding.experience.
