This is my favorite local restaurant. The menu has so much variety and it is all delicious. Try any of the lamb items and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to ask about the specials and definitely try and go on a night when they have a live DJ.
Little known fact, this establishment was originally intended to be named "Grinch and Barley" after the iconic lovable anti-hero "The Grinch", but the ensuing legal battle forced a name change. Regardless, the beauty and character of everyone's favorite redemption story lives on. Long live the Grinch! Grinch and Barley!
Overall we liked the experience, best waitress I had in a long time, prices are a bit high.
I'm currently doing a low carb diet and it's not easy eating out. As soon a mentioned that none of that items in the menu would work for me, the waitress just asked me to tell her what I'd like in a salad and they made it as I asked which was great and it tasted good.
My friend had that vegetarian mousaka it was good, but small for the price and comes without any side.
Anyways best waitress! Thank you!
Wow!!! I'm impressed with the high quality food and awesome ambiance, fantastic service! I hope the animals on the walls aren't real taxidermy though - and if yes, at least sourced from an ethical taxidermist ?.
Their French Toast truly is notorious.
I'm so glad I've found my new Brunch spot ? despite the taxidermy moral consciousness mental battle while I was chewing the food...
Great hidden restaurant and bar. Relaxed atmosphere, nice seating, great drinks and easy to share tasty food. Service was efficient and laid back. You really feel like a local. Happened to go on a Sunday when they have $10 flatbreads. Unfortunately they were out of chocolate ganache. Got the mint creme brulee instead which sadly isn't a great flavour in my opinion. Please change to classic vanilla or maybe a fruit flavour.
