Went on a weekend morning around 10/11 am. The space was approximately 50% full with a number of open spaces at small tables and the communal table. Staff were patient with ordering and also helpful in providing recommendations for food and drink. Ordered a black salt cream and iced latte, as well as the salmon bowl and chashu bowl. Drinks were prepared first and then the bowls. The food was quite filling, although there may have been more vegetables than rice or protein. The drinks were rich in flavour and did not dilute too much despite the ice.
Staff did not rush anyone to leave and people were free to use their devices to work. The only downside is the lack of comfortable seating. The atmosphere is minimal and bright, but not necessarily cozy. Price is reasonable for the amount ordered and the time spent at the cafe.
Would recommend a visit to try the food and drink or see a friend.
Large airy comfortable & pleasant decor. Staff is friendly. It is self serve. Food is flavorful. Enough parking available. The menu here is a reduced version of their Schoolhouse street location. Casual sit down Cafe, but no backrest on seats, which may be a challenge for some.
The coffee is delicious, food is fresh and very good, staff are friendly and efficient, and street parking is plentiful and free. It's spacious and airy, with a relaxed vibe. Even when it's busy (which is all the time, basically), the feel is very chill. It's a bit of an oasis, you know? Kids' hot drinks (steamed milk and hot chocolate) are only $3 for the dairy versions. My son loves the smoothies, as well - which are large and available in very berry and mango. These are real, fresh fruit smoothies, too, so you can give your kid something actually good, here. The Green Aria sandwich is delicious and completely vegan, made with house made cashew cream cheese. I wish I'd known about this place, in the planning stages; I would have asked to invest in it. (When you decide to open your next location, let me know, K?) A great deal of thought has gone into making this place special. For those of us who consider the coffeehouse to be our sanctuary, this is a can't-miss.
Ambiance was A plus! Very minimalist style. We got cakes to go. Favorite and most recommended: Tiramisu; There was 1 left when we arrived. The other two we got was carrot cake and cheesecake - both are okay” but i think there’s better out there.
My family and I wanted to go out for brunch but had to wait 45 minutes for our table so we decided to check out this new coffee shop while we waited for our table. We decided to get coffee and some treats and ordered to eat it in the cafe. As soon as our order was ready the restaurant said our table was ready. Kinsley was serving us our food and I apologetically asked her if we can get it to go. She was so sweet and accommodating and made me feel like it was no problem at all. Because of her and also the other staff working today I will definitely be back. They made it a point to say thank you and bye and something so little makes you feel special.
