The Leigh box jig rocks! Leigh technical support absolutely rocks!

It did take me quite a few tries; mainly because i'm a beginner woodworker -- struggling with tools and lacking basic knowledge. Matt at Leigh tech support did not give up on me with prompt and helpful replies. On the other hand, i got zero support from the large tool companies.

i finally be able to do the joint repeatedly and easily. Setup of the Jig was simple. But i learnt more than just cutting box joints. Woodworking requires patience -- lots of variables and little room for errors. i learnt to respect tools. And the process is even more rewarding than the end product.

The "D" series Dovetail Jig is outstanding, perfect joints for my small boxes and cabinet building projects. Customer service is great. Parts availability for the older "D" series jigs is good, I often buy parts for the 1258 and D3 model with no problem. The FMT pro makes face frame building really easy, the joints are strong and fit perfectly with little effort.
