Sensei Darren and the rest of the Sensei team have created a really great learning environment. They're very good with the little kids and are always patient with them. Our kids are developing quickly and I'm super impressed with how much they are learning life skills as much as martial arts skills. They are learning to walk strong and defend themselves if they need to but also how to care for their friends. Highly recommended.
It's been amazing so far! My daughter is 7 and has limited experience with martial arts. Sensei Darren, his wife and sons (Sempai and Sensei's) are very patient, knowledgeable, kind, gentle, funny, warm and welcoming. We LOVE it. :-) They not only teach the skills but explain why they need to learn them. This has helped her understand and integrate the skills faster. And, I am delighted with the Sensei/Sempai to student ratio. The community/children are lovely too! We're looking forward to her learning and progressing.
Top Notch! Faulks JiuJitsu represents everything you want in a martial arts gym/ Dojo. It's small, family run with an incredible culture and community feel. The teachers have an incredible demeanour with the kids that transcends far beyond the Dojo. They get on the kids level and treat them with respect which breeds confidence, it's much more than teaching them how to fight. We don't feel like we joined a martial arts gym but rather a family and community. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic culture and amazing teachers. My boys have been going for nearly 3 years and they are not only gaining skills and confidence, but are developing as people as well.
Great for adults and kids.
