One of the earliest bubble tea shop in Vancouver area. Decent bubble tea. Has wheel cakes. Well priced. Located on 2F of Richmond Public Market. Accepts cash.
Wheel cake from peanuts bubble tea !! Anyone?!?
Many foodies here recommend this! And finally tried and both their wheel cake and bubble tea!
For wheel cake, my favourite flavour is Cheese, radish and matcha! What’s yours??
This shop is located at the top food court level of public market. This shop is always having a queue in front. No doubt, with this very reasonable price, everyone will go and try!
This is my favourite bubble tea place. I have been to Taiwan multiple times and find Peanuts to be consistent and authentic when it comes to Bubble tea. The family is very kind and polite on every visit. Drop by and you will be glad you did.
One of the best bubble teas in town. So authentic, and for a GREAT price. They also sell wheel cakes, which cone in various flavours, my personal favourites being matcha and cheese. The wheel games are sold for 4/$3.25. It is conveniently located on the second floor of the Richmond Public market, which is very easy to get to by bus as it is right by Richmond Centre.
Peanut's is definitely a large competitor in the bubble tea industry, especially when other chain stores are just a couple of blocks away. The grand selection size is already a pro, but they also sell non-bubble tea options, such as Red Bean Ice and wheel cakes. I don't know if I've had one that I haven't liked as of now, but the Grenadine MT is a stand out for me. The prices are notable, as well. A drink here is nearly half the price of any other bubble tea shop, on top of having a loyalty stamp card. The only cons are that they close at 8pm and on Tuesdays, so you can't get your late night bubble tea fix here, and they only take cash (but it's Richmond, so what do you expect).
Speedy service, great taste, large selection, and cheap prices explain why many people are holding Peanut's cups while walking around Richmond Centre, even though Peanut's is blocks away.
