This coffee joint is unique in its own culture, and I am always fascinated by Italian coffee. That's why I give it 5 stars, because don't expect it as the Canadian/American style coffee shop you know. This is an authentic European coffee shop, take it or leave it, love it or hate it kind of shop. Arturo is funny when you get his sense of humour!! But I love him! Of course, he really (like really really) knows his coffee!! The beans are freshly roasted every day, tailor to your taste, and chat with him like you are in Sicily, Italy. The shop has some Caribbean touches, so you might think like you are buying an Italian coffee in a Caribbean island. Plus, support our local roaster is another bonus to come here often! Its 34 years of history in Richmond comes with reasons. I fell in love with its vibe, coffee and its fun chat right at my first time! I am going to be the regular here!

By far the best coffee I have had in Vancouver, in British Columbia, in Canada.
The expresso shots are flavourful and linger pleasantly on your tongue and taste buds.
The roasted coffee beans are expensive and worth every ounce.
Pick up the roasted peanuts with garlic, wonderful as a side snack.
Hot chocolate great, latte wonderful, cappuccino delightful!

This place has the best coffee I have ever tasted. It’s always fresh and nice dealing with the owner. I often come from Burnaby just because there are no other coffee beans of this caliber in the lower mainland.

Wanted to try out fresh roasted coffee beans based on other good reviews. The owners were nice and friendly. I wanted medium roasted beans and bought a bag that he recommended. But found out it was quite dark and oily once opened up at home. I could give 3.5 stars if available based on my experience.
