“Richmond Public Works Yard hosts an open house every year (usually around mid May) which is a free event. There's a lot of exhibits and fun things for kids and families to do. Lots of free things are given away, including free self serve dirt (for people that want to use it for their garden?). Food trucks set up to create a food court atmosphere. Covered eating area with picnic tables are set up beside a stage where live band, dancers and other performers entertain. Lots of people come and parking can be difficult to find. This year it was from 11am to 3pm.”
