Imperial Parkside Apartments

We love living here! The management company actually cares, they are super responsive, they have maintenance people ready to go if there are issues, and the suite is in good shape -- it's older yes, you have to be prepared for that, but it's a great size (we're in the 2 bedroom) and you aren't going to get this size for this price in newer buildings these days.

We have been primarily dealing with Maryglo in the office and she has been spectacular, give that girl a raise!

The only downside I have to report so far has been laundry. It is a full $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry a single load and we have easily been spending $80 a month or more to get all the laundry done. The main problem is that the dryers frequently don't get things dry enough so you have to really split even single loads of washing into multiple dryers. The company who manages the machines seems to think 60 minutes will dry the same amount of clothes on delicate, low heat, and high heat, which is absurd. We should be getting 30 minutes more time on lower settings at the very least. So you can pay more, or shrink your clothes, that's the options.

Sadly going to a laundromat is out of the question for me due to disability issues. From what I understand, the laundry is contracted out and I don't believe the management sets the prices here, the contract company does -- however, it still negatively affects the tenancy so it's important to note.

I have lived in a few apartments, usually with awful landlords or managers in charge, but this place is different. Management is always helpful, friendly and efficient. Jennifer Filoteo is my favorite manager, she is always available day or night, and always has such a bubbly personality. The apartment needs a bit of work but what old building doesn't. Overall, great place to be.

Hello peeps, My review for the #9555 128 st Main street apartment. I moved to this apartment in Nov 2020.
Apartment is not new nor flawless but spacious and management team is awesome. Apartment was freshly painted before we got possession.
Jennifer manager for the apartment has always been there for us since the day I contact her inquiring about the apartment. She was so efficient and helpful in processing my rental application. Always responsive to our problems and taking timely action as promised. She is the best manager one can have at a residency 😁.

I can’t say enough positive about the building manager, Jennifer. She’s very helpful and friendly. She is on top of any requests I’ve made about issues that have arisen since I moved in. She’s genuine and kind. I would have given 5 stars if this review was just about Jennifer.

I gave 3 stars because of the building itself. There are pest issues I didn’t expect to deal with and it’s been both physically and emotionally taxing. The way Jennifer is handling them is what upped my rating and kept me patient at this time.

We are on vacation and our Appartment is being taking care very well. Management arrange proper spray according to the schedule in our absence. Security guards property watch my car parked in building premises. Jennifer s the most amazing manager I have seen. She remember names and is very friendly and approachable. Overall whole team is excellent!!
